About the job

One of our administrators will be on parental leave, and we are therefore looking for a new colleague to join our team.

With us, you will be part of a workgroup with broad competence and varying experiences. You will work closely with two other administrators in an organization characterized by collaboration, responsibility, and development.

The Supervisory Authority of Western Skaraborg is a joint organization for the supervisory activities in Essunga, Grästorp, Götene, Lidköping, Vara, Skara, and Karlsborg municipalities. The host municipality is Lidköping, where the operations are also located. Our mission includes matters concerning guardians, curators, and custodians according to the Parental Code, as well as guardians for unaccompanied children.

An organization in development

In 2026, the organization is facing an exciting development phase. A new operational system will be introduced in the spring, and new legislation in the area will come into force at the same time. This gives us good opportunities to work more digitally and meet future demands. Therefore, you need to be comfortable with digital working methods and also be able to handle some parts of the processing manually.

Job responsibilities

As an administrator with us, you will have a broad and varied assignment. Your tasks will include:

• Deciding on fees for representatives
• Reviewing accounting documents and annual accounts
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail
• Maintaining ongoing contacts with authorities, care services, social services, relatives, and more
• Being responsible for the recruitment and training of representatives

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with experience in administration and economics who feels comfortable working with numbers. A large part of the job involves reviewing annual accounts, which requires accuracy and analytical skills.

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience from supervisory activities
• Experience in accounting work or, for example, banking
• Participated in changing operational systems

You have good communication skills and enjoy having many points of contact. You work in a structured manner, have high integrity, and can both collaborate well and work independently. We would like you to enjoy meeting people in different life situations and to perform your work with care and professionalism.

Qualifications

High school education, preferably with further education. A driver's license for manual transmission is desirable.

Conditions

Employment form: Temporary position until 2027-05-31. Some financial background checks will be conducted before employment. Interviews will be ongoing during the application period.
